Go to > Payment Request > Campaign Payment Request
This feature allows for, time sensitive public or silent auction formats, with a ‘Buy Now’ feature allowing the bidder to purchase immediately for a fixed amount. Auctions can be linked to Social Media (Facebook & LinkedIn) or via Web Link.
To participate in auctions, each bidder must login or register for a Mobipaid Wallet. Please note that the Wallet supports Visa & Mastercard only.
Step 1: Select Campaign Payment Request.
Step 2: Complete the Campaign Setup:
Tab: 1. Delivery Options
Select the social media platform you wish to post your campaign(s) to.
Tab: 2. Request Details
Reference Number - Create a reference number related to Auction to easily identify in your Payment History.
Category - Select Auction Campaign.
Campaign Heading - The heading for the campaign as it appears on Facebook and/or LinkedIn.
Images - Include an image in your campaign. Learn how to upload an image.
Image Gallery - Add additional images if required.
Auction Name - The name you choose for your auction.
Description - Description of the item to be auctioned. Displays on your payment page.
Additional Fields
When you click ADD for Additional Info field you will note an ADD button with three choices:
Item Info - Gives your customer a description what you are selling e.g. 'Product Name' 'Nike'.
Text Box - Gives your customer an instruction e.g. 'Terms and Conditions' followed by 'I accept' or 'Please enter special delivery instructions' followed by 'Please enter here'. You can also make this a requirement on the payment page meaning payment cannot be made until instructions are entered.
Dropdown – Allows you to enter yet more detail e.g. 'Specify Delivery Times' followed by 'AM, PM'. Remember to use a comma between am, pm.
NB: The order of these field be changed.

Send MMS Receipt: - Selecting 'Yes' means your customer will receive a payment receipt through MMS or SMS. You will be charged MMS and SMS fee where applicable. Select receipt file type.
Customer Information: - Selecting 'Yes' means your customer will be required to give information about themselves on the Payment Landing Page.
Shipping information - Selecting 'Yes' will require the following information from your customer: phone number, name, country, street address, and zip code that you previously created.
Attach receipt on email - (If email was selected for the payment request) Selecting 'Yes' will attach the receipt to the email.
Share Button - Selecting 'Yes' means your customer can share the payment page across their social media pages.
Auction Configuration:
Minimum Bid Amount - Minimum amount for the first bid.
Bid increment amount - Amount by which the next bid must increase by.
Select Tax Profile - Taxes will be added to the payment based on the Tax Profile.
Start Time - Specify a start date and time.
End Time: - Specify an End date and time.
Is this a blind auction - In a blind auction, bidders simultaneously submit bids to the auctioneer without knowledge of the amount bid by other participants. Toggle Yes/No.
Buy now option enabled - ‘Buy now’ allows participants to purchase the item instantly for a set price determined by you.
Terms and Conditions - A link to view ‘Terms and Conditions’ will appear as a link on the payment page. Your ‘Terms and Conditions’ will appear in a pop-up text box.

Review the details of your payment request. When ready, click ‘Submit’.
Step 3: Complete the Payment Request Setup:
Concluding the Auction:
View the highest bid and send a payment request to the winner.
1: Navigate to the Transaction Log. Click the Hamburger Button beside the Mobipaid logo at the top left of the screen. Select Transactions > Transaction Log.
2: Find your auction campaign in your transactions. Under the ‘actions’ column, click the three horizontal dots that correspond with your auction campaign. Select 'Bid History'.
3: In Bid History, you will view all of the bids that have been placed for this auction item. The highest bid will be located at the top of the list. In the 'actions' column, select the three horizontal dots associated with the highest bidder (or whichever qualifier you choose for your winner), and select 'Choose Winner'.
4: Once the winner of your auction has been chosen, you will be redirected to a payment page called Create Auction Winner Payment Request where you will send out the payment request.
Shipping Information - Select 'Yes' if you require shipping information from your auction bidder.
Non 3D payment - Select 'Yes' if your banking institution does not require 3D payment verification from your auction bidder. If your banking institution does require this step, please select 'No'.
Payment type - Choose whether you would like the payment to be taken immediately, or if you are pre-authorizing the payment for a later date.
Available to pay in - This is where you will set the time frame in which your auction winner will have to complete the payment..
Message template - Select the message template you wish to use for your auction winner. If you have not yet set up a template for your auction, you can do so by following instructions for creating message templates.
Auction Name - The name you choose for your auction.
Description - Description of the item to be auctioned. Displays on your payment page.
5: Submit your payment request by hitting the 'Submit' button at the bottom right of the screen.
